Job summary

The main areas of responsibility are: employee development, performance management, coaching, scheduling, health & safety, ISO compliance, inventory and freight management and house account sales growth.

Responsibilities

Essential

Participate in hiring, training and monitoring Customer Service Representatives (CSR) on the customer service processes/standards in all transaction channels.
Conduct performance discussions following the process; provide regular ongoing feedback to team; develop learning plan for individuals to improve performance to targets quickly.
Monitor margin performance by employee; produce higher margin product sales from inside team by closely monitoring margin performance.
Manage the daily pricing process performance; ensure all pricing adjustments sent to H/O and followed up; collect data for all accounts for reviewing branch pricing every month with sales manager; analyze problems and opportunities to improve pricing.
Work closely with Regional Sales Manager to communicate goals & expectations of individuals and team & jointly facilitate regular branch meetings.
Coordinate the efficient operation of all process transaction activities: quoting, follow up, orders, sourcing and order fulfillment.
Responsible to ensure branch customer orders are picked, packed, shipped on-time

Qualifications

Required

Required Experience:
At least 5 years in leadership position in order desk / customer service in industrial distribution
Office management (scheduling, budgeting) experience an asset
Experience working in an ISO certified environment preferred
