Reporting relationships

Reports To: Branch Operations Manager



Key Responsibilities:

Process customer orders and quotes (e.g. entry, sourcing and follow up).
Process incoming customer orders from electronic sources and assure accurate fulfillment.
Maintain superior relationships with customer contacts, H.O. contacts and suppliers.
Create and maintain accurate customer file information and paper flow. (manual or electronic).
Notify technical sales and managers of significant activity/issues with customers, competitors.
Set up continuity of service for customers when not in office.
Provide back up assistance for other inside team members (shipper/receiver, CSR’s) as workload requires.



Required Technical Skills, Knowledge & Competencies:

Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications- Word, Excel, Outlook; familiarity with internet searches
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Required Experience:

Previous order entry/sales experience preferred
Proven track record of ability to excel in a team environment
